Several top football organizations have showered congratulatory messages to Hasaacas Ladies FC following the 4-0 win over Ampem Darkoa Ladies to clinch our 5th national title.
Our Ladies played out a remarkable grand finale against the Champions of the Northern Zone Ampem Darkoa Ladies to win the 5th National title at the Madina Sports Complex over the weekend.
Doris Boaduwaa scored two second half goals in addition to goals from Faustina Nyame Aidoo and Evelyn Badu in the first half to take the game way beyond the reach of the Dorma-based opponent.
The remarkable feat achieved adds to the tally chalked in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2019 national titles becoming the most awarded women’s league side in the country.
Hasaacas Ladies will represent Ghana in the WAFU Women’s Club competition, the zonal qualifiers to the CAF Women’s Champions League starting July 15, 2021 at Ivory Coast.
The women’s version of the Giants of the West picked up the Goalkeeper and Defender of the Season Awards; Grace Banwah and Janet Egyir snatching the awards respectively.
Below are some top messages from the world football governing body(FIFA), the continent’s football governing body(CAF) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports among other significant organizations in the country.
