Yussif Basigi Reappointed Head Coach of Black Princesses

Yussif Basigi has been named as the Head Coach of Ghana’s Female Under 20 team for the second time since leaving the post in December 2019.

The Hasaacas Ladies Football Club gaffer will steer the affairs of the Black Princesses for the second time.

The Ghana Football Association announced the appointment on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.

Yussif Basigi will be assisted by Head Coach of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Nana Adarkwa and Immigration Ladies’ Anita Wiredu-Minta.

Our Head Coach, Yussif Basigi has amassed huge successes over the years; won gold for the Black Queens at the All African Games in 2015, led Black Queens to bronze medal at the African Women’s Cup of Nations in 2016 and gold at the maiden edition of the WAFU Zone B Women’s Nation’s Cup in 2017.

At Hasaacas Ladies FC he’s managed to win 11 trophies in the last decade and helped Hasaacas Ladies FC to finish second in the CAF Women’s Champions League maiden edition.
