Hasaacas Ladies Stars Up for End of Season Awards

Two Hasaacas Ladies Football Club players and Coach Yussif Basigi have been nominated for the 2022/2023 End of Season Awards for their outstanding impact throughout the campaign.

Doris Boaduwaa and Grace Boudou Banwaa are in contention for the Player of the Season and the Goalkeeper of the Season Awards respectively.

Coach Yussif Basigi after leading Hasaacas Ladies to a record 8th Southern Zone triumph and amassing 39 points(a national high points tally) for the season will be in the race for the Coach of the Year Award.

Our Head Coach holds a season high 12 wins out of 18 games, three draws and three defeats.

Yussif will compete with Joe Nana Adarkwa of Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Joseph Akeem Anyagre of Army Ladies FC.

Doris Boaduwaa finished the season as Club top scorer with nine goals in 14 appearances. Her outstanding contribution saw her directly involved in 16 goals after providing seven assists in the process.

She faces competition from Mafia Nyame, Faiza Seidu, Zenabu Mumuni and Mary Amponsah.

Grace Banwaa has a season high clean sheet of eight from fifteen games and made some amazing stops to see Hasmal secure the top spot on the final day of the zonal games.

Farahama Ziblim and Evelyn Yeboah are other competitors for the Goalkeeper of the Season awards.
