The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has presented a bus to Hasaacas Ladies in recognition of their success during the 2023/24 season.
Hasaacas Ladies received the vehicle after emerging as winners of the Southern Zone of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
The initiative is part of the GFA’s Bus Acquisition Strategy, aimed at enhancing football development by reducing transportation challenges and improving the operational capacity of clubs.
GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku stated that the move forms part of the association’s broader strategy to empower clubs and ensure the sustainable development of the game. The bus is expected to strengthen the club’s logistical capabilities and overall performance.
This follows a similar initiative last year, when the GFA presented buses to nine Division One League Male clubs , many of which have since earned promotion to the Premier League or continue to compete in Division One.
