The Ghana Women’s Premier League returns with a home game against Halifax Queens on Saturday, February 14 (15:00 GMT). w
We’ll be hoping for a similar performance and result in our last trip to Accra to face Halifax Queens earlier in the season, when we recorded a 0-1 win courtesy of a Lorreta Afful header.
We are unbeaten so far since the start of the year, and the squad will be hoping to continue that streak over the weekend.
Our last outing in league was for that 0-1 win over LadyStrikers in Jukwa by way of a goal from Comfort Owusu.
After a poor run of games, Halifax only got their second win of the season last weekend with a win over Oak Ladies at home, which will be the source of their motivation heading into this game.
We are currently joint-top of the league table after 12 games played, and the head coach and the rest of the team are confident of going clear at the end of this weekend.
The game will be played at the Kobby’s Astro Turf in Takoradi with the venue open to all fans and spectators.
