Hasaacas Ladies’ excellent form continued today at the Madina Astroturf as goals from Doris Boaduwaa and Success Ameyaa helped put 3 goals past Berry Ladies.
It took Hasaacas 21 minutes to get on the score sheet as Success Ameyaa sent a thunderous strike from some 34 yards out to give the Giants the lead.
Doris Boaduwaa scored a goal at either side of the game to ensure Hasaacas Ladies finished the game with a 3 goal advantage.
It was a dominant first half display from the Giants ensuring the team’s unbeaten run stayed intact with two more games to go.
How we lined up
Coach Yussif Basigi named a strong starting eleven for this tie showing clear intent of leaving no stone unturned for the encounter.
Grace Banwaa stayed in between the poles and in front of her were Blessing Agbomadzie Shine and skipper Janet Egyir as the central defensive pair, Linda Eshun and Comfort Owusu were the left and right full backs respectively.
Success Ameyaa, Faustina Nyame Aidoo and Doreen Copson were in the center of the park.
In attack were Veronica Appiah, Lucy Kwofie and Doris Boaduwaa.
What happened?
As early as the 4th minute, Doreen Copson signalled a fine intent with a shot outside the penalty box which was grabbed on the second attempt by Abigail Tawiah.
Again at the 13th minute, Doris Boaduwaa came one on one with Abigail Tawiah but her strike with the weak for travelled way off goal.
Success Ameyaa registered the opener when Doreen Copson headed down a floated effort onto the strong foot of Success Ameyaa who sent in a thunderous strike past the fully stretched arm of goal keeper Abigail Tawiah.
Before long, Hasaacas Ladies had secured its third goal, Doris Boaduwaa again connecting to a corner kick from Doreen Copson to ensure Hasaacas Ladies secured the cushioning.
It could have been 3 goals on the 32nd minute when Doreen Copson after prompting the first two goals had to score her own but her effort went way off target.

After recess the host showed much firepower in attack and created several goal scoring opportunities; the brightest of the chances came off the cross bar and again Banwaa intervened on the line to keep the score-line at 2 – 0.
At the 89th minute, Veronica Appiah played Doris Boaduwaa through and with a well-timed effort lobbed the ball over Abigail Tawiah to round the score to a 3 – 0.
