Five times Ghana Women’s Premier League champions Hasaacas Ladies have added Charlotte Okie to their goalkeeping department ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Charlotte joins the club on a permanent deal looking to bring a different competition to the squad this season.

The shot-stopper arrives from Vitoria Football Club with loads of experience under her belt even at a relatively young age.

“I am very happy to be at this great club. It feels good join Hasaacas Ladies and I am looking forward to exciting times,” she said in her first interview with the club’s media team.

On the wat she brings to the team, Charlotte added, “I am looking to bring a healthy competition to Grace Banwaa. I am here to learn from her and push her to greater heights.

“I know there are a lot of things I can learn from her but also, I need to be ready to replace her whenever I am given the chance while she is away.”

The Do Ladies begin their 2025/26 season against newly promoted Oaks FC later this month and Charlotte, who has been training with the team is confident of a bright start.
