We will face Jonina Ladies in the semi-final stage of this season’s FA Cup following our win over Ampem Darkoa Ladies over the weekend.

Goals from Grace Ntsiful and Abiba Issah ensured a great comeback in the quarterfinal round and secured our progression to the last four.

The visitors took an early lead at Kobby’s Astro Turf, but their celebrations were short-lived as Grace scored directly from a free kick to draw us level.

The equaliser was followed by Abiba’s rebound after Grace had fired another free kick into Ampem Darkoa’s dangerous area.

Following the victory, we will face Jonina in the next stage of the competition.

Jonina won on penalties against Supreme Ladies and made the finals of the competition last year.

The meeting will be the third meeting between the two sides this season after earlier encounters in the league where we have suffered one defeat and drawn the other.

The semifinal fixture is scheduled to be played between March 20 and March 23.
