Fidous Yakubu’s Double Help Hasaacas Ladies Trounce Ridge City Women 4-0

Fidous Yakubu powered in two goals as Hasaacas Ladies secured a resounding 4-0 win against Ridge City FC Women to keep the hundred percent start to the season.

A dominant first half by Hasaacas Ladies FC saw us produce 11 corner kicks and was duly rewarded with a goal at the 32nd minute of the game courtesy a tap in by Doreen Copson.

It was Copson’s fifth goal of the season and the only goal of the half.

Fidous Yakubu added two more in the second half and Veronica Kumah-Baah added another, their fifth and fourth goals respectively.

Lineup

It was just a change made by Coach Mustapha Fudail as injured Doris Boaduwaa was replaced by Veronica Kumah-Baah.

Grace Banwaa was in poles, Faustina Nyame Aidoo, Abiba Issah, Fatimata Fuseini and Comfort Owusu were in front of her in defense.

Efuwa Asabel, Doreen Copson and Linda Eshun were in the middle of the Park.

Veronica Kumah-Baah was the arrow head flanked by Fidous Yakubu and Success Ameyaa.

Rubby Osei came on for Linda Eshun to a have her first official game in Hasaacas Ladies FC shirt.

Success Ameyaa paved way for Francisca Asante and Silvia Osei came on for Efuwa Asabel.

What happened

It was another fine display which saw Hasaacas Ladies extend the fine start to the season with a 4-0 annihilation of Ridge City FC.

A first half strike by Doreen Copson and three second half goals from Fidous Yakubu and Veronica Kumah-Baah completed the demolishing exercise.

The win means we still hold on to our hundred percent start to the season

What’s next

Hasaacas Ladies FC will make a trip to play Army Ladies Football Club on match day six of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.

Player of the Match

Fidous Yakubu with her second double of the season was adjudged the Player of the Match.

She’s now joint club top scorer with 5 goals alongside Doreen Copson.
