Hasaacas Ladies fought to a goalless draw in the opening Group B game at the CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers on Sunday.
The game, which was played at the Bouake Stadium, saw the Hasmal Ladies give their all on the pitch to ensure they walked away with a point against Omnisports Etincelle.
The fixture ended 0-0 with both teams picking up a point each.
Grace Banwaa turned up on several occasions to keep the Hasmal Ladies in the game while Rita Musah also made crucial clearances at the back for the Ghanaian champions.
In the other Group B game, Edo Queens claimed an emphatic 5-0 win over AS Garde National.
With the draw from the first game, Hasaacas will now turn their attentions to the second group game against Nigeria’s Edo Queens on Wednesday, August 14.
