Our female team will be competing for the Club of the Year and the Women’s Footballer of the Year also had Milot Pokuaa nominated for the coveted title.
The Giants have already sold out an impressive season in the Women’s Premier League; finishing as Southern Zone Champions and setting out a final game on July 5, 2021 against Ampem Darkoa Ladies, another competitor for the award.
The team finished the zonal league as the best defensive side allowing just 7 goals in the league. The team is also in the semifinals of the FA Cup with an upcoming game at the Ejisu Okese Park against Supreme Ladies FC for a slot in the final.
The Award will see our ladies compete alongside Berry Ladies FC and Ampem Darkoa Ladies.
Milot Pokuaa with 9 goals and 7 assists in 13 games has also been nominated for the Women’s Player of the Year in the Award.
The Black Princesses player is competing alongside Ophelia Serwah Amponsah of Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Sherifatu Sumaila of Mallbackens IF Sunnen in Sweden.
