Hasaacas Ladies commenced the second round of the 2025/26 Women’s Premier League with a victory over Oak Ladies over the weekend.

Defender Abiba Issah scored the only goal of the game for the Hasmal Ladies, who picked up all three points against the Accra-based side at the Koby’s Astro Turf in Takoradi.

Abiba connected with Milot Pokuaa’s cross from a free kick to break the deadlock in the 42nd minute of the game. It was her second goal in two consecutive games, having also scored in the win over Samartex Ladies on matchday nine.

The win means Hasaacas close the gap on the two leading teams in the Southern zone and are now on 20 points, two behind league leaders Army Ladies.

They are also one point behind Jonina Ladies.

Hasaacas Ladies will now turn their attention to FA Cup action next weekend when they host Epiphany Warriors in the last 16 of the cup competition.
