Abigail Sakyiwa, Success Ameyaa and Fatimata Fuseini have received call-ups to represent Ghana’s Youth to prepare towards the May 20, 2023 West Africa Football Union Youth Tournament.

Fatimata Fuseini has flourished at the left back position for Hasaacas Ladies FC in her debut campaign and is one of the only three players to have started and featured in every single league game(the others being Doreen Copson and Comfort Owusu).

The midfield duo of Abigail Sakyiwa and Success Ameyaa have shone this campaign too.

Yussif Basigi will lead the U20 side for the upcoming Youth tournament which will be hosted by Ghana from May 20 to June 4, 2023 at Kumasi.

Ghana will compete in the maiden edition against Nigeria, Togo, Benin, Mali, Cote D’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Niger.

The team is expected to report to camp on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
