Hasaacas Ladies climbed from a two goal down to secure a point against Police Ladies at the Sekondi Gyandu Park.
The men’s team watched from the stance and will be going into theirs on Sunday, January 2 against Ebusua Dwarfs.
The two series of our New Year Delight at the Sekondi Gyandu Park started off with a difficult encounter between Hasaacas Ladies FC and Police Ladies FC.
Hasaacas Ladies did so much to maintain its unbeaten ran despite going two goals down as at 72nd minute to level matters for a point.
Skipper Janet Egyir played her first game of the season as the only change that was made from the squad that played Army Ladies on match day 2.

The first half produced a goalless draw with few clear cut chances falling on the path of either side.
Despite an improve second half display from Hasaacas Ladies FC; it was Police Ladies FC that announced their name on the score cards first courtesy Mary Mamle when she rebounded Ruth Animah’s saved spot kick.
Janet Egyir had brought Animah down in the box but the attacker’s resulted penalty was saved by Grace Banwaa only for Mary to pounce on the lose ball.
Ruth Animah again scored her own and the game’s second with Hasmal Ladies trailing 2-0 at 73rd minute.
The firepower shown later on saw Faustina Nyame Aidoo and Veronica Appiah connecting to Perpetual Agyekum’s set piece to level the deficit.
First it was Faustina Nyame Aidoo that rose highest to connect to Agyekum’s corner.
And when Comfort Owusu was brought down few steps off the penalty box; Perpetual Agyekum sent in another inviting cross which was turned in expertly by Veronica Appiah.
It ended two all at full time.
Another gingering display from both sides.
Now attention will be turned to match week four game against Faith Ladies FC at Accra.
The team still lies at the summit of the log with seven points, a point better than Lady Striker at second place.
