Hasaacas Ladies duo Raymond Fenny and Abiba Issah have been nominated for the January Women’s Premier League NASCO awards.

Head coach Raymond Fenny has been nominated for the Women’s Premier League’s Coach of the Month award for January.

The gaffer has been recognised by top-flight decision makers after leading the Hasmal Ladies to sensational victories over the last few weeks.

The month under review saw Hasaacas draw against Police Ladies while also beating Samartex Ladies and Oak Ladies en route to going top of the table.

Gleaning seven points from those fixtures is impressive enough, but the club’s unbeaten record since the start of December is what has caught the attention of many.

Abiba Issah is also gunning for the WPL Player of the Month award.

The defender was impressive in the draw against the defending league champions while she was on the scoresheet in the win over Samrtex.

Abiba also scored the only goal as we defeated Oak Ladies in Takoradi.

The winners of both awards will be announced in the coming days.
