Hasaacas Ladies bounced back to winning ways over the weekend with a narrow win over LadyStrikers in the Women’s Premier League.

Comfort Owusu scored the only goal of the game as the Hasmal Ladies picked up all three points on the road against their rivals at the Jukwa Astro Turf.

Hasaacas Ladies went into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Jonina Ladies a week ago, ending a run of three games without dropping points.

However, the Takoradi-based side picked up the pieces last weekend as they secured a win to move closer to the top of the league table.

The five-time league champions scored in the opening half of their game on Sunday and kept their cool to ensure they held on to win the game.

The win sees Hasaacas Ladies move to 24 points, level with Epiphany Ladies, who defeated Jonina Ladies, as well as Army Ladies, who drew their game against Samartex Ladies.

Hasaacas Ladies’ next game is against Halifax Queens as they return to the Kobby’s Astro Turf after two consecutive away games.
