Fatoumata’s Treble Moves Hasmal to Women’s FA Cup Semis

A hat-trick from our Burkinabé import Fatoumata Tamboura ensured Hasaacas Ladies produced a 4-1 win against Thunder Queens to seal a semifinals slot in the 2022/2023 Women’s FA Cup.

The Host endured their third defeat against Hasaacas Ladies following a league double and a FA Cup triumph to seal the lock for a semifinals slot.

It was two goals at either side of the two halves with Doris Boaduwaa also in the thick of affairs by getting the game’s third goal before Fatoumata Tamboura added what stretched the game beyond any doubt of a win for Hasmal.

It was a strong starting eleven from Yussif Basigi. The Head Coach saw the return of Linda Eshun and Abiba Issah to the starting lineup in a 4-2-4 formation. Diana Maweremo manned the poles and was flanked by Fatimata Fuseini and Comfort Owusu.

Faustina Nyame Aidoo and Doreen Copson handled the defensive and offensive positions respectively.

In attack were Doris Boaduwaa, Abigal Sakyiwa Veronica Kumah-Baah and Fatoumata Tamboura.
