The draw for the maiden edition of the Qualifying stage of the Confederation of African Football Women’s Champions League will be held on Monday at 10:00A.M.
Ghana’s sole participant in the first of its kind tournament, Hasaacas Ladies FC will learn oppositions to be faced when the tournament begins on July 15, 2021 tomorrow, Monday, July 5 at brunch.
Other participants from the various WAFU B countries that will take place in the draw are as follows:
Amis du Monde Football Club (Togo)
Association Sportive de la police (Niger)
Union Sportive des forces Armees (Burkina Faso)
Rivers Angels Football Club (Nigeria)
Onze Soeurs de Gagnoa (Cote d’Ivoire)
The draw will be held in Abidjan which will also serve as the host city for the tournament.
Winners from the various zones of CAF will meet in a 8-nation tournament at Egypt later this year.
Hasaacas Ladies beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies in the 2019 Normalization Committee tournament 3-2 to win the slot to represent Ghana.
The team has again won the 2020/2021 Women’s Premier League after beating Ampem Darkoa Ladies 4-0 and will represent Ghana again in the next edition.
