Hasaacas Ladies Cruise over Immigration Ladies for Record 7th Southern Zone Title

Linda Epo and Lucy Kwofie handed Hasaacas Ladies Football Club a precious 2–0 win to ensure the Giants lifted the Southern Zone Championship of the 2021/22 Women’s Premier League with 3 games to spare.

Hasaacas Ladies have an unprecedented 11 wins and 4 draws in the 15 games played thus far this season to book an unassailable 37 points with 3 more games up before the curtains on the season shuts.

The victory seals another champions of champions clash with a yet to be decided winner of the Northern Zone.

It took Hasaacas Ladies until the 24th minute for Linda Epo to produce the match opener after the Giants had come close on a number of occasions in search of same. The midfielder was lurking and made good use of the chance when it fell on her path.

With 20 minutes showing after the recess, right back Lucy Kwofie made the most of the opportunity to present the Giants the much needed breathing space and the cushioning to put the score-line 2–0. That was that and there was little the relegation bound Immigration Ladies could do about it as Coach Yussif Basigi neared another milestone with his lads.
